Michael Fetter Nathansky grew up in Spain and Germany. He is a screenwriter and director and, together with producer Virginia Martin, co-founder of the Berlin production company Contando Films. From 2013 to 2021 he studied at the Film University Babelsberg KONRAD WOLF. He directs short fiction films with a light hand, as well as documentary and more experimental works. His short films GABI (awarded with the German Short Film Award 2017), UN CUENTO SIN TI and SALIDAS (nominated for the German Short Film Award 2021) have been screened at festivals worldwide and received numerous awards. His feature film debut SAG DU ES MIR was released in German cinemas in 2020.
