The largest of the ARD regional stations, WDR (Westdeutscher Rundfunk – West German Broadcasting), avoids having anything to do with the co-production of short films – although there are strong efforts to work together with local students of the “Kunsthochschule für Medien Köln” (KHM – Cologne Academy of Media Arts).
